Sydney horror deathcore powerhouses to the grave have unveiled their ep "still". the seven track release delivers devastating blast beats, crushing break downs, heavy hitting guitars and a face melting vocal performance

alongside the thought provoking lyrical content that to the grave has become known for. fasten your seat belts as we jump into the madness.
First track off the bat is "forced diet reassignment". this track sets the tone of what you will expect throughout your listening experience. You may be surprised by a gentle start to the track but that doesn't last long, I can assure you. while the track may be just over a minute and a half long it packs a punch and will leave you reeling. lyrically the song smacks you with the opening line "die you f**k" before having vocal gymnastic performed to you with the likes of "Good deed for the week, skin head to feet Sawed off, there's 1,000 ways to bleed", and "Red is the new green Butcher the guilty Are you desensitised to violence?" this song is going to be a circle pit song if I ever heard one.
"Sawed off" will musically have you on a well designed chaotic journey with hardcore undertones and the classic gutteral stylings of Dane, all while leaving you some space for two-stepping. "Backstabbed, You c**ts sat back while pigs got gassed, Cuts through bone Kills all conversation, you son of a b**ch, Yeah who the f**k asked you?"

"show them the bodies" will hit you right to your core. "Rule one, keep your tongue tied,
F**k off apologist stay the f**k off the frontline, Big fuck off knife to a gunfight, Fuck all your sorries, Here come the cut throats sunshine, Show them the body bags". if you like bell heavy blast beating drums, relentless guitars that will have you head banging and being pig squealed at about how you are scum, this is your new favourite song. "Rain death, On all that is human, Remember dead bodies spit no excuses, So f**k off, die with your delusions, A species so f**king stupid".
next up you will find yourself listening to my personal favourite "hunt the hunters." while a good portion of this song is instrumental, it pulls you in, almost as if you are being circled by a predator. "Set the traps, Lay in wait, Lay the bait, Mutilation" it may be me feeling too much into this song but I was on edge from the beginning, with an opening that I can only describe as the sensation of running through the woods while someone chases you. the 000 phone call midway really hits home with the level of danger that is expressed throughout this track. "Rolled in like you owned the place, Trespasser, Tonight you die here."
"emesis system" feels like it was an attempt to see how much brutality you could fit in is less than 90 seconds, and I can tell you it is apparently a lot. "None are innocent, Dead weight we drag, Hand your heads, I wish you were all dead." this song hits hard not only

musically but lyrically. "Shame on them inflict pain on them, I wish you were all dead.
So f**k off, all cysts are cut from the same flesh, S s s stepping on the roaches, heaven reject them, Dear god forgive them not."
While 'hunt the hunters' may be my favourite overall because of how it makes my body react, "DNA (do not amputate)" tickles my brain in ways that only to the grave can. "God stays silent, Death came in waves, From the septic seven seas, Encroaching tidal waste, Bodies line the beach." This is honestly the best parts of the band come together into a piece of art unlike anything else. the vocal range performed, the insane skill in the drumming, the guitars pushing and pulling you exactly where they want you to be at that point of the song and then there is the theatrics of the additional recordings over and under laid throughout. I will honestly be very surprised if this doesn't become a ttg fan favourite. "R**e in our DNA, Jesus f**king christ, the mess we made, Exploiting deep, exploiting wide, Getting away with murder, it's no surprise, Floating face down".
last but not least is "death walking terror". This is the song that probably feels the most disconnected from the rest of the EP. hitting those notes of more guitar solo hair metal/old school heavy metal vibes in places than I was expecting, but it is interesting and exciting to hear the band experimenting. "I am the black thoughts of the night, Deep in the darkness of your mind, Shrouded in shadow, the mental torture, In the realm of death walking terror, Stalking the closest to the edge, Imposition of depravity, Sanity holding by a thread, Desperation draws them close to me".
