Music news - We Came As Romans with Special Guests Caskets (UK) + Headwreck, 2026 Australian tour

We came as romans have just dropped their 2026 Australian tour announcement for the 'because we're doomed' tour, travelling to Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide AND Melbourne. they'll BE JOINED BY two phenomenal SUPPORTING ACTS: CASKETS AND HEADWRECK, FOR WHAT'S SURE TO BE AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT OF MUSIC.

The last time WCAR were in Australia they toured with The Amity Affliction and ice nine kills in the ‘Let The Ocean Take Me 10-Year Anniversary Tour’. One review from the tour by everblack media stated "I’m sure I wasn’t the only one grinning ear to ear as ‘I am darkbloom’ sounded out over the crowd. With bassist Andy Glass‘ energy and Dave Stephen’s powerful vocals, it was hard not to headbang the entire set". We can only begin to imagine how much heavier and absolutely energy packed the 'because we're doomed' tour is going to be!

We came as Romans first emerged onto the scene in 2005 and now 20 years later they're still evolving and dominating as a prominent metalcore band. In 2025 they released their single 'bad luck', which Dave Stephens described as "a song that is so important to each of us. Lyrically, it’s about our journey as a band since the very beginning. We’ve faced so many setbacks and problems behind the scenes, and sometimes it feels like Bad Luck is all we have - but the way that we’ve persevered through all of them to become who we are today is the real story, not the issues along the way."

WCAR released their seventh studio album this year, titled 'all is beautiful... because we're doomed' , which is an album that addresses the highs and lows of humanity. Full of soul and struggle, this album is sure to add another level of intensity to the 2026 tour.
