2 for 1 deal people! we caught iprevail, imminence and invent animate on the violent nature tour in Sydney. let's dive in!

metalcore
this was my first time seeing invent animate live. the haunting intro with sounds of rain and thunder. it was theatrical and beautiful to say the least. the boys had colour coordinated outfits. all dressed in white. they looked incredible.
the venue was quite full when they came on which is a rare sight to see but a good one.
their stage presence was awesome, especially marcus'. the dude was running around, spinning around. hyping everybody tf up.
my favourite song of theirs came on . 'without a whisper' and hearing those high notes live was euphoric! closing up with a circle pit and a solid wall of death was sensational.
invent animate has to be on your live bucket list!

'last night was like a movie'
no seriously. i have never been so excited to see a band more than imminence, i'm not gonna lie. they're so beautifully unique and more eyes need to be on them. (yes...more.. i want a headline tour)
everything goes red. speaking of lighting. amazing work. it fit the vibes of this haunting, movie like atmosphere. every song had a colour theme. it was red then it was purple then it was green and red then blue. it was so well structured, there was so much attention to detail and i love that!
the ending was insane! you have eddie the vocalist/violinist screaming into his violin mic and it made this special muffled/echoed/reverb sound that is so hard to explain. all the adrenaline cuts off as the lights go down. the crowd went wild. so wild, i would say that this was my fav crowd appreciation since bloodywood was here.

they start the show with 'clint eastwood' by the gorillaz (banger) then it glitches and kicks it off with 'nwo'
playing some of their new sounds from their new album violent nature, they also played some of their older and popular stuff like their blank space cover, bow down, hurricane and more.
during their song violent nature, we got a surprise guests featured. jamie haiils from polaris! i was squealing! 2 of my fav metal vocalists together on stage in front of my very eyes. i was a happy girl.
they did a sweet cover of metallica's 'sad but true'. erics vocals were super impressive! even having that little 'yeaaaaahyeaaaaaah' james thing going on. you know what i'm talking about.
we ended the night with eric doing a shoey and closing the set with my happy angry song, 'gasoline'
this show was amazing start to finish. i'm so grateful to be able to witness such amazing international acts. thought not having any australian support acts on the line up was disappointing, it was a fantastic show and line up. i love iprevail! i love invent animate and imminence.
i know the crowd loved it too. so excited for them to come back and see us again soon!
