Rob Zombie has just announced the release of his 8th studio album, titled 'the great Satan', which is set for release on February 27th through Nuclear Blast records.

The album is 15 tracks and is the latest release since his 2021 record ''The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy'. The first track from the new Album, titled 'punks and demons'' is out now and has more of an old school/white zombie feel to it. Commenters so far have remarked that the song is "the heaviest stuff Rob has made in recent memory" (@cabalofdemons, and have said "I’m really impressed. Less electronic emphasis and more guitars. It’s like old White Zombie. A real 1990’s vibe" (@brakin667).

Rob Zombie started out as a member of multi-platinum band white zombie, who formed in 1985. White Zombie broke up in 1998 and Rob released his debut solo album 'hellbilly deluxe' that same year (although he had first begun working on the album in 1997, before the band had broken up). Rob was reported to have wanted to create a perfect 'horror-themed' album. To this day, 'dragula' is consistently on Halloween play lists and Rob Zombie has successfully integrated horror into both his music and image.

The music video for the track was directed by Rob Zombie himself and you'll see his classic style shine through in the colours and backing visuals.
