Babymetal didn't just give us one delight today, they dropped double the fun. Their latest album 'metal forth' is finally out and it is packed with collaborations. Along with the full album release they've given us the music video for 'my queen' feat. spiritbox.

Metal forth: In an interview with metal hammer on June 5th, Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto), told viewers that metal forth means "the future of metal as envisioned by babymetal". The band included collaborations with other artists that they felt would push forward the metal genre. These collaborations included poppy, bloodywood, spiritbox and electric callboy. Previously released tracks from the album, such as 'ratatata' and 'from me to you'' quickly rose in popularity. The album is a unique mix of sounds and is futuristic in its presentation.

When another member of the hot and heavy crew asked me what album I was most excited for this year... this was the album I named without hesitation! After listening to the album today I'm ecstatic with my choice. Babymetal have given us something fresh, exciting and fun with this latest album.

'My Queen' (feat. spiritbox), official music video: creepy, white eyes stare out at you as a chess board moves across the screen. Suddenly the chess board flips and we see babymetal showcasing their signature moves, dancing across the board. Courtney LaPlante joins babymetal on the board in a ghostly white dress. The peaceful, ethereal atmosphere doesn't last too long before Courtney releases her incredible hard vocals for the bridge of the track. The contrast between the hard vocals and the softness of her character really brings the drama to this music clip. The music video for this track is dark, creative and captivating. It perfectly compliments the track.
