San Jose metalcore-hardcore band "MUGSHOT" have delivered their third single "I will be here forever" from their forthcoming album "all the devils are here", which is set for debut on June 20. Commenting on the new single, the band says: "This was one of the most difficult to finish lyrically, but came together better because of that. We all felt a sense of isolation
while writing and recording this album so thematically, this song is centered around sacrificing whatever you feel is necessary to accomplish one’s goals, even if that means ultimately harming yourself or those around you."
produced by Randy Leboeuf (Kublai Kahn tx, The Acacia Strain, Gideon, Bad Omens), 'I will be here forever', along with the rest of the album, has been earmarked as a new beginning for the
band. Mugshot prides themselves on increasing in brutality, both musically and thematically over their time as a band, instead of the decrease in intensity that is common.
straight out of the gates you are thrown into chunky guitars, chaotic pedals, heavy hitting drums, a roller coaster of a rhythm and the angry screams of vocalist Ringo. the song has a groovability about it that makes you want to move and circle pit at the same time. "Sacrifice myself to feel free And if so, give me wings".
with heavy hitting lyrics, "I feel them close around me, There’s no separation, Confined to the panic", a filthy breakdown and a beat you can stomp to, this will be a song to add to your playlist for those days where you are angry at the world and just need to stomp that anger out.
"This album is the most collaborative we have ever been as a band, every person had a major hand in creating whether that be musically, lyrically or both. It’s also the first album we haven’t self produced and having Randy Leboeuf on board was so invaluable, he really felt like a 5th member. Lyrically this is the most personal and pissed off we have ever been and we think everyone will be able to connect with many tracks on this record."
