Major Arcana- "Bloom" Single Review
Looking for a brand-new song that sounds right from the ‘Queen of The Damned’ soundtrack? Y’know, the sexy bloody vampire movie from 2002 where Lestat becomes a rockstar? Well look no further because Major Arcana definitely have this one covered with their latest single "Bloom".

Major Arcana are a four-piece alt noise metal band originating from the Southern Highlands in NSW. These guys are entirely committed to their DIY roots, with "Bloom" being entirely recorded, mixed and mastered by bassist, Dominic Bouletare. How sick is that?

Despite its delicate sounding name, “Bloom” is devastatingly destructive. Heavily filthy industrial riffs, chugging grooves and unapologetic breakdowns give body to the track, while contrasting deliciously against vocalist Beau Morgan’s dynamic melodic vocals.
This song definitely nails those early 2000’s nu-metal vibes, all while still feeling refreshingly original and of it's time.
Taking influence from the likes of 'Muse', 'Loathe', 'Vein.fm' and 'Thornhill', these guys have definitely mastered a sound and vibe that is entirely their own. I absolutely loved "Bloom", and I absolutely fell in love with the duality of Beau Morgan’s vocals and his ability to nail the most brutal gutturals and raw screams, as well as gorgeous melodic crooning.
I think fans of 'Loathe', 'Deftones', 'Linkin Park', 'Korn' and 'Thornhill' will definitely want to add this one to their playlists.....
Major Arcana will be celebrating the release of "Bloom" @ the Burdekin Hotel on the 17th of October, with Deadshowws, Headfirst and Kryver. You can get tickets for this gig by clicking here!
Major Arcana will also be performing at the Hellbound II Cruise next year alongside heavyweights such as 'Parkway Drive', 'The Amity Affliction', 'I Killed The Prom Queen' and more. If you’re going to be there, definitely make sure you check these guys out!
