Liveconformdie release brand new ep "die in my prime" out now

Liveconformdie are back in a big way with their highly anticipated new EP, “Die in my prime”.
Its been a whopping 4 years since the release of its predecessor “Vol ii: music for living failures” and while their absence has most definitely been felt across the local australian heavy music scene, the Perth 5 piece have made great use of the time away refining their signature genre defying sound for this release, masterfully blending metalcore, hardcore, nu metal, deathcore and even trap and phonk elements to create both something so undeniably them, with a more mature edge that hasnt been seen before.

This new, more elevated sound feels like a very natural progression for liveconformdie, its heavy, its really cleanly produced, and it definitely keeps up with trends without making a complete departure from the fun boundary breaking nature of the band that earnt them their cult following with their previous work.
From the hardcore undertones in “who have i been praying to?” to the interesting little phonk noises accompanying arguably the heaviest vocal delivery on the album in “attitude adjustment”, so much of the genre bending is done so successfully that you don't even notice it straight away, which is so fun because it means the listening experience just keeps evolving and levelling up.
“Die in my prime” is going to be an absolute hit among so many types of alternative listeners,
“soul devourer” and “who am i praying to?” will satisfy fans of bands like wage war, bury tomorrow and cane hill, whereas “die in my prime” (the single) will appease the numetal fans, fans of bands like ocean grove, headwreck and dregg. Its super cool when bands can appeal to so many genres while still maintaining the cohesiveness of a well rounded EP or album, and livecomformdie have done an absolutely stellar job.
“Die in my prime” is an absolutely delightful listen, captivating from start to finish, with infectious energy that will translate so well in a live setting, which is fantastic for you if you reside in perth, as liveconformdie will be holding their EP launch at amplifier bar on october 17th with heaven//alone, our demise and curse.
