"Something HEAVY is coming, Where Metal Meets the Sea 🤘" - Destroy all lines.


the Hellbound cruise announcement, sailing from Sydney harbour on Thursday 22nd October 2026, and returning Sunday 25th, is already generating excitement and speculation of the possible lineup. here is my prediction at a possible 25 artist lineup.

  1. mAKE tHEM SUFFER (Australia)


    Perth local metalcore band make them suffer, have been making waves, with award nominations, festival tours worldwide and an upcoming Australia regional tour starting in June this year.




  1. THE AMITY AFFLICTION (Australia)


    GYMPIE local POST-HARDcore band THE AMITY AFFLICTION, have recently gone through a lineup change, it will be interesting to see where their musical direction goes. the amity AFFLICTION are due to start their American tour in June.



  1. THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA (America)


    Ohio metalcore band, the devil wears Prada,, have just released their latest single "for you," which promises for exciting things to come.




  1. THROWN (SWEDEN)


    Swedish PUNK HARDCORE-METALCORE band thrown, have been causing a ruckus lately, climbing their way to the forefront with their august 2024 album release "excessive guilt."




  1. KUBLAI KHAN TX (AMERICA)


    texas METALCORE band Kublai Khan TX recently released their latest album "exhibition of prowess." guitarist Nolan announced this week that he was leaving the band. I personally am interested in seeing the musical turn they take.



  1. GOJIRA (FRANCE)


    the ondres technical death metal band formed originally under the name Godzilla. their performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympics last year have thrust them even further into well deserved notoriety.




  1. SPIRITBOX (Canada)


    Victoria band SPIRITBOX, are arguably one of the most popular metalcore bands right now. SPIRITBOX released their second album "tsunami sea" in March to enormous success.




  1. MOTIONLESS IN WHITE (usa)


    gothic metalcore pennyslvanian band, MOTIONLESS IN white haven't toured Australia since 2022 so are due for a return. they are a common mention on festival wishlists.




  1. THREE DAYS GRACE (Canada)


    Ontario rock band three days grace have seen the return of original vocalist adam. they are a purely selfish addition to this list on my part.




  1. MARILYN MANSON (usa)


    florida goth rock musician marilyn Manson, hasn't toured Australia since 2015 and with new music released this week, my fingers are crossed this will bring him back for a well over due tour.




  1. CRADLE OF FILTH (england)


    Suffolk symphonic black metal band, CRADLE of filth are always a fan favourite and with their newest release of "the screaming of the valkyries" fans will be impatient to see them again.




  1. A FIre inside (AFI) (America)


    if you grew up an emokid like myself, Californian melodic horror punk band afi will no doubt be one of your favourites. even though they recently toured Australia as a support for green day, they are always a good idea.




  1. OF MICE & MEN (usa)


    Californian metalcore band, of mice & men have not released an album since 2023, however they did tour Australia last year, with a six year gap previously. their diverse sound would be a welcome addition to any roster.




  1. THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER (usa)


    Michigan melodic black metal band, the black dahlia murder, have successfully toured Australia on several occasions, including last year for the first time with guitarist Brian eschbach stepping up to lead vocalist. r.i.p Trevor strnad.




  1. I PREVAIL (usa)


    the metalcore band from michigan has toured Australia to enormous success several times now, including earlier this year as a support to parkway drive. their high energy performance and thought provoking lyrics are sure to have you bouncing.




  1. JINJER (Ukraine)


    donetsk progressive metal band, recently toured Australia. Tatiana has one of the most impressive vocal ranges, in my opinion, with angelic and melodic cleans all the way to low gutterals. with their latest album "duel" released in February, fans will be eager to see them back.




  1. MUDVAYNE (usa)


    touring in australia last year for the first time in 18 years, the Illinois progressive nu metal band, made the promise to return to australia in a more timely manner. fingers crossed it will be within two years.




  1. ELECTRIC CALLBOY (Germany)


    would it really be a concert on a boat without the music stylings of castrop-rauxel electronicore band electric callboy? I think not.




  1. UPON A BURNING BODY (usa)


    Texas deathcore band upon a burning body is well over due for an Australian tour and with the release of their new single "dragged through glass", hopefully it is a sign we will see them here soon.




  1. THORNHILL (Australia)


    Melbourne alternative nu metal band, thornhill released their third album "bodies" at the beginning of april being described as "A Raw Dive into Passion,Desire, and the Abyss" by Sylwia Green of amnplify.

    THORNHILL are well on their way in the scene.




  1. IN HEARTS WAKE (Australia)


    Byron Bay metalcore veterans, off the back of their stellar performance at knotfest and newest album release "incarnation"; in hearts WAKE would be a welcome addition to any australian festival.




  1. ALPHA WOLF (australia)


    Tasmanian Melbourne based metalcore band have been making waves in the scene for years. Alpha WOLF are currently completing an Australian tour before heading to america in June.




  1. polaris (Australia)


    Polaris are one of the most popular Australian bands in the heavy scene at the moment. "known for their... progressive metalcore sound with... ambient soundscapes, electronics and melodic hooks, intertwined with personal lyrics – often dealing with anxiety, depression and loss." r.i.p Ryan siew




  1. knocked loose (usa)


    Kentucky hardcore punk - metalcore band knocked loose made worldwide headlines after ground breaking performance of "suffocate" on jimmy Kimmel live on the 27th of November 2024, following their latest album release "you won't go before your supposed to."




  1. lions at the gate (America)


    lions at the gate are an alternative nu metal band formed in new jersey 2021, so they are the newest band on this list. however with many years of past experience between the five piece, they are set to make an impact on the heavy music scene.
