if you're after your new two-step anthem, look no further as i've got the perfect song for you.
blood sweat and fear is the latest single release from albury hardcore band, grim.

we start off on a pretty classic hardcore foot with heavy low tuned guitar riffs that bounce from ear to ear, followed by punchy drums and a filthy bassline. something to awaken the primal response for all the moshers.
the vocals kick in hard, beginning our brutal and confrontational narrative for the next 3 minutes.
from my personal understanding of the lyrics, blood sweat and fear is about pushing yourself to the limit and following a path you don't want to walk down.

"you suffer more in your life than in reality, trapped in a fear of your own fatality. demons whisper in your ear trying to hold you down."
this sounds like the hard truth of being stuck in the same cycle of life that you don't want to be in but feel like you're trapped in.
"the truth is you're all scared of change,
but it's okay to break the chain." spoke to me like an affirmation, be who you want to be, do what you want to do.
this track sounds like it was written to inspire. it's honest and powerful, while successfully making us aware that we work hard, so we have to make sure we're working hard in a space we want to put our blood and sweat into.

by now you should be two-stepping. if not, get the fuck up and move!
i really like the progression of the song getting lower and slower, until the unruly breakthrough scream and instrumental power followed by the band's chanting
"blood sweat and fear"
this is a great get up and move song and one i can see a crowd climbing over each other for a chance of a mic grab. if given the chance to catch grim on tour on the east coast, i'll definitely be part of the crowd fighting to scream my lungs out to this heavy, fun and emotionally charged track.
