Wake up babe, Australia's 2026 tour schedule just keeps getting hotter!
American black metal outfit DEAFHEAVEN are returning to Aussie shores in July for a full australian tour - Yes, Perth and Adelaide, YOU TOO!!
This is Deafheaven's first trip back since 2023, when they played Their 2013 hit, SUNBATHER, in full. LONELY PEOPLE WITH POWER was their sixth album, which returned to their black metal/gazey noise after infinite granite. Often exploring heavy themes, DEAFHEAVEN have become masters in their craft.
"The record captures Deafheaven’s innate ability to mix and merge melody with brutality, and pain with poetry. Through reflections on masculinity, inherited trauma, family, and self-perception, the album grapples with the idea that while we can’t fully escape our past or our nature, we can choose how we move forward." - destroy all lines
they're bringing along some friends, including nothing, the shoegazey post rockers from philadelphia. Landing on the heavier end of the scene, they seem like they might not fit the bill, but their sharper jabs and dreamy riffs will hold your hand right into deafheaven's performance.
Spy are just continuing to go up in the world, the hardcore punks are landing line ups with Glare, Loathe and Drug Church.
If you haven't heard Deafheaven, Nothing, or Spy, get about them now before you miss out!! With a lineup like this, any hardcore or gaze fans should be there!!
