Western Sydney metalcore Band arbiter have just dropped their new single 'visitors'. The band is comprised of Luke Street (vocals), Liam Wild (guitar/vocals), Blake Kirbos (guitar), Luke Evans (Bass/vocals), and Rory Yeoman (drums/producer). While the band are fresh to the scene they've already played some impressive gigs, including a debut performance at Elton Chong with Serial pest, Blood Trails and Amammoth; an interstate performance in Canberra with Wyndfall, switch up and herald; and at the home grown 'metal united down under' in Sydney.

Their latest release 'visitors' kicks into action immediately. It's an angry, intense mix of electric guitars and drums backed by a fast-paced beat. As soon as the lead vocalist comes in you know this is going to be a killer mosh pit song. The vocals are harsh, raspy and dynamic; shifting between pure growled lyrics, to higher pitched screams.

The lyrics remind me of night terrors and I can envision the being that is described in the lyrics - "But then the sunlight creeps in

Through my window, The creature disappears, Leaving me alive for another night". The theme of the track drifts away from so many metalcore song themes we've heard of late and I love the story of this creature and its hold over the vocalist as the song progresses.

As the track progresses the lyrics get even heavier as we hear "I can't say goodbye,

A shadow came into my life, Now it's all I see, No light left inside" screamed out painfully. By the end of the track we realise that this is not a demon outside of the singer, but instead it's a reflection of his own internal demons that he continues to battle with.

This track is for the head-bangers, the mosh pit enthusiasts and the ones who have been waiting the whole set for the wall of death. The heavy music and even heavier lyrics set the scene for an enthusiastic pit. The break down at the end of the song is so satisfying and leads into a fade out of music to draw the track to a conclusion. If you're a fan of metalcore music, then this track is likely to become one of your favourite listens. Seeing this track live with a full mosh pit would be an incredible site!

The band have an upcoming show This Saturday at Darling Nikki’s, With Deprivation, Dead By Dawn, and Age of Emergence. Here at the Hot and Heavy show we're very keen to see where the band goes and are excited to be a part of their journey right from the start!
