Western Sydney trio, Vinewood Rally have blessed us with a nostalgic, nu metal, post grunge hit called 'lydia'
"'Lydia' is our heaviest release so far."
vinewood rally draws influence from bands like Foo Fighters, Violent Soho, Green Day and our very own Silverchair.
"the song is about being trapped in a toxic relationship with someone who constantly lies, saying the right things to keep you around whilst hiding who they really are outside of the relationship"
The trio have grown into a deliberate, self driven project. with a strong DIY background, the band collaborates over song writing with Dylan producing and engineering every release at home. Giving them full creative control.
The chorus captures that push-and-pull between attraction, manipulation and resentment, with the track building into a chaotic hardcore-inspired breakdown that represents the emotional breaking point.
'Lydia' is out everywhere.
