If you're one of those people who love to jump on bands early and say you 'knew them before they were massive', then you'll want to jump on the wyndfall train. Established in 2025, this metalcore quartet hail from Canberra, Australia, and they're coming in hot in the heavy music scene. The band have come out of the gate strong after launching their first single 'butterflies', which wonderfully intertwines hard and clean vocals throughout. One volume promotions described the breakout single as "Harsh vocals that lift, clean verses that ground, and a tone that hits with the kind of emotion most bands spend years trying to harness.”

The band released their third single 'awake' on August 15th and it's a track that has something for everyone (who loves heavy music). Softness with clean vocals, electric guitar riffs carrying throughout, and guttural screams to keep you on your toes. The song starts with a soft, synthetic-sounding tune, which is soon infiltrated with electric guitar. The tune is catchy and carries you through the track. The clean vocals against the familiar tune and impactful drums draw you in. The chorus is anthemic and reminds me of a Bring Me The Horizon chant. The track is catchy and is an impressive addition to the bands string of new releases.

"This time I won't close my eyes, I am awake. So leave behind the ones who never change".
recently the band have supported other acts such as Switch Up, Arbiter, Sunless and herald at new blood and sunless at society city events. For newcomers to the scene, Wyndfall are already locking in and making a name for themselves.
Wyndfall's next show is at LALALA's, Wollongong, on 27th August. The night will be packed with talent as they play alongside sunless, switch up and alterth. Tickets for the upcoming show can be found here.

We can't wait to see where this band goes and we just know that wherever it is... it's going to be big!
