As soon as I read the quote "Our music is for fans of Alphawolf, Darko US & Make Them Suffer" I knew I wanted to jump on the review for Violent Conflict's latest release, titled 'venom'. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, this metalcore band comprised of members Josh Guerin, Leigham Moyses, Connor Gawley and Robert Schilke is sure to become one of your new metalcore favourites.
'Venom' dropped November 13th and the accompanying music video is packed full of intense head banging, Dexter-like horror scenes and intensity from the very first beat drop. The track kicks off with repetitive drums, sounds of distortion, and heavy vocals. Our vocalist is seen strapped to a moving hospital bed before appearing to be rocking backwards and forwards in a padded cell. A chaotic warehouse scene flashes throughout, tying in perfectly with the hard vocals which cut through the distortion with stark contrast. The song is aggressive, loud and guttural. If you're looking for three minutes of solid metalcore action, then 'venom' needs to be the song blasting from your speakers right now.

Venom is a track that includes all your metalcore favourite attributes - varied vocals throughout, throaty screams and an excellent "BLEUGGHHH" that will have you in the mosh pit before you even hit the first chorus. The intensity continues throughout the song with only a brief pause before the melodic, high impact and sudden end of the track. It's evident that violent conflict have poured their passion into this track from start to finish. The band have packed all their energy into their music and you can hear that energy bursting out through your speakers.
Venom is the latest single off the bands upcoming debit ep 'Silhouette of a Saint''. With 545 monthly listeners on Spotify this is a rare opportunity for you to jump on the bandwagon before violent conflict gain even more traction. So if you're ready to be there from the start, we're ready to share all the details to get you on board with violent conflict...
IT'S NO SURPRISE THAT I BATHE IN VENOM.
