Soothe is a nu-metalcore/hardcore band from Athens, Greece which formed in 2024. "With a tagline that screams "Hardcore Attitude-

Metalcore Swag" they offer a dynamic blend of ferocity and swagger-crushing breakdowns, pulverizing riffs, and commanding vocals that ignite every part." The band has slowly been adding to their discography over time, exploding onto the scene with their singles "scythe of death" and "bury me"; and will be releasing their debut EP "IS THIS SOOTHE ENOUGH?" THE TRACK STARTS OFF STRONG WITH "THIS IS SOOTHE, BLEGH" AND RAPIDLY BUILDS FROM THERE. SOOTHE HAVE BECOME SYNONYMOUS to me with varying and heavy vocals, intense breakdowns, the now classic metalcore guitar pedal work and drums that fill in empty spaces with precision and intention. I found soothe last year and I have been high-key obsessed with

their music since. For such a young band their musical talent stands out. "this stupid face, was it you? is it me? well fuck this, can you really relate? or you gonna pretend like you always did, did you?"

"static" falls into the rhythm of previously released singles from the EP "frostbite" and "kudasai", while managing to stand out entirely on its own. the groovability of this track is addictive and had me from the very beginning.

if you like to shake arse or two-step this is definitely a song for you. "the scene knows the scum you are, you speak of respect that you never won, say it loud to my face, speak it up you bitch, walk the road of shame, I dare you walk it off, sell out for fame."
