oh... hell yeah, guys.

this was a fun night.

The hammo was packed to the brim with metalheads for the insanley goated line up.

Blinder are new on my radar and immediely i thought. 'these guys are a great fit'

for fans of thornhill and loathe with the get up of a 90s-00s time capsule.

imagine floating on the clouds but the sky in that beautiful lilac and blue you get when the suns is just about to make an appearence.

i'm getting there...

But you're listening to some good fucking shoe-gaze.

'is that a mannequin in the back?' i hear in my ear. i totally forgot theres some random guy in and all black tracksuit and has not moved since the start of the set. arms crossed for at least 10 minutes? i don't know. it was weird but again.... fitting. also, what is the lore of this band?!

the vocalist brings out his ds to capture the moment and filmed the crowd. doing so whilst maintaining amazing clean vocals. the whole band together look and sound fantastic. the lighting was annoying for capturing photos and videos but look at it this way, blinder are a type of band to watch in real time. put the phones down and enjoy!

i love a good deficit ... set. (inside joke)

i didn't write down any notes cause i just know these guys give a great performance every damn time.

If you don't know who deficit are. these guys are kktx and limp bizkit love-child australian band?

yeah. that sounds right.

Of course, i was loving every second. the outfits, the lighting, blake's hair. it was magnificent!

i got real giddy when they played 'deathstyle' (as they should), and judging by the crowd. they pulled off a great performance and gained alot of new listeners from what i heard.

You truly are missing out on a really good fucking band if you're not listening to deficit. this band is going to be huge in this next generation.

my first time seeing cane hill and i'm still trying to pick my jaw off the floor. it's been 10 long years since they were last here and it seems australia has given an impressive welcome back.

my initial thought was how beautiful the vocals are and how it gave a more darker version of blinder in a way so again... exceptional fit for the bill.

the stage presence and interactions with the crowd got everybody fired up and ready for ocean grove. throughout their set, they asked for a big ol 'can i get a hell yeah?!', pulled some goofy faces and was jumping around and having so much fun with the crowd.

we we're now ready... for ocean grove

it's been a hot minute since i've seen the boys. it was back in 2024 when polaris did their national tour at coffs harbour. that was my first time seeing them live and they have been burned into my brain ever since.

with all due respect. they wernt (as what the kids call), 'crackhead' as they were last time. but, their peformance still had me locked in. the strobe lights wer'nt nice to my eyes so i did have to head up the back and shield myself but oh my god the crowd was awesome (except one old man...shocker) secruity was alive but everybody was on their best behaviour and they had an easy shift. the hammo is a smaller venue and i feel the audience is well aware and respected it. there were many responsible pits throught the evening.

what a solid set this was. the hardcore fans at barricade that have been holding their spot all night were geeking. they played everyones favourites starting with junkies and finishing with fly away and gid is real, it's the sound guy cause the whole night the sound was perfection!

this was such a fun show. i remember seeing so many happy faces and hearing many 'oh my god bro that was so sick' from the sweaty mosh gremlims.

ocean grove, along with all these bands on the line up are a must see. what a night! minus one point to the hammo cause they wasn't any vodka drink specials. boooooo!
