Parkway drive are making history again with their first park waves festival announced for Australia. while we wait for more details, here is my wish list in the order I feel like they would play; I know my list is too full of heavy hitters, but what is a wishlist for??
Oceans & omens
Perth based metalcore band oceans & omens have been delivering their concept inspired music since 2021. They have one EP 'i: descent' and an album 'ii: aether' to their discography.

Total Buzzkill
Total BuzzKill are a Brisbane based metalcore band. They released their debut album 'the start of something beautiful' in may and have an EP 'chemical station' under their belt. their song "the matriarch" will feature on the Australian film by the same name (due for launch on july 10), which also has a guest appearance of drummer will Tarrant.

formed in 2015, Virginia, usa metalcore band bad omens have been taking the world by storm with their genre bending music style. bad Omens have been releasing music since their 2016 debut of single 'glass houses'. the band has 6 full length albums in their discography, alongside 2 EPs and several featuring singles. bad Omens are currently working on their next album and we can only hope that noah's recent comment of "i'm so tired from working on these albums" wasn't just a slip of the tongue but a marketing genius move for what is to come.

Parkway Drive
Parkway Drive needs no introduction to the Australian metal community and so I won't waste your time by doing so. the Byron Bay heavy hitters have released an impressive 10 full length albums and with the release of their latest single, 'sacred' on May 7th, it is safe to say we have another coming soon. They continue to push the local community forward with impressive set displays, experimentation and now providing even more opportunity for Australian musicians to be seen.
