Sydney’s melodic hardcore outfit Bloom are keeping the momentum rolling with their latest single “Out Of Reach”, the newest taste of their upcoming album The Light We Chase, dropping October 31 via Pure Noise Records.

The track dives deep into the frustration that comes with chasing goals that always seem just beyond reach. With raw emotion and striking imagery, “Out Of Reach” captures the feeling of constantly pushing for more, only to find emptiness on the other side. It’s intense, honest, and unmistakably Bloom, pairing soaring vocals with crushing instrumentals in a way that feels both heavy and heartfelt.

Speaking on the single, the band explains, “Out Of Reach stems from questioning whether the pursuit is worth it, and the dissatisfaction that can come when striving towards a goal. The idea that the goalposts are always moving is at the root of the song.”

The Light We Chase promises to be Bloom’s most personal record yet. This is an album built on reflection, heartbreak, and growth. Working with producer Sam Bassal (Ocean Grove, Thornhill, Void of Vision), the band explore nostalgia, longing, and the struggle of expectation, while stepping into new sonic territory with confidence.

Featuring guest appearances from Jack Bergin (Void of Vision), Mikaila Delgado (Yours Truly), and Patrick Miranda (Movements), the record captures Bloom at their most versatile, from gut-wrenching heaviness to moments of pure melodic release.

After wrapping up a near sold-out headline run in Australia, Bloom will be heading overseas this month for a UK/EU tour with Thornhill and Ocean Grove, before joining Silverstein, Thursday, and Free Throw in North America for the 25 Years of Noise tour.
