Enshrouded by mystery, UK synth rock duo ZETRA have just dropped an ethereal and ghostly new single titled ‘The Spider’.
This track highlights the duo’s bewitching sound, characterised through blending elements of shoegaze, synth and post-punk.

'The Spider' features melodic vocals, layered with lilting synths and dynamic dreamy guitar riffs to create an entrancing sonic atmosphere.
This track keeps the upbeat energy of new-wave influences whilst elements of shoegaze and gothic post-punk are prevalent in the guitars and drums, adding depth and a hint of haunting darkness to the track.
Reminiscent of the sounds of renowned groups such as The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Alcest, this track takes these musical inspirations and creates something truly beautiful, raw and distinctive.

On 'The Spider', ZETRA commented:
"The golden thread becomes a web.
The silken strands entice you, but do not linger.
Will you climb to brighter heights?
Or descend into madness.
And ever he waits.
And ever he watches."
The track is accompanied by a monochromatic music video, featuring ZETRA's signature black-metal inspired aesthetics.
‘The Spider’ will be featured on ZETRA’s newest EP 'Believe’ which will drop on August 22nd! You can pre-save the EP by clicking here!
