First of all, a massive shoutout to Rhi for making this night happen and putting three awesome bands together for one night at Shotkickers in Thornbury.

Prog lovers, this one’s for you.

Terrestrials dropped their newest single ‘Endure’, featuring Nik Barker, on September 11th and celebrated with a single launch on September 25th — and honestly, it was such a fun night.

From the second the night started; everyone was just having a good time. There was cheering, screaming, moshing, dancing and singing pretty much the whole way through. Seeing everyone with their mates, drinks in hand, arms around each other and just enjoying themselves, there wasn’t a single person standing still.

What Most You Fear

What Most You Fear kicked things off with their instrumental set and got everyone warmed up pretty quickly. They had us headbanging along, and Bec, who’s on keys, even jumped into the crowd and started a mosh pit.

Because apparently being on stage wasn't close enough. 😂

Their set took us on a journey and was such a good way to start the night. They brought their own sound to the lineup and definitely got everyone ready for the chaos that was coming.

Verona Lights

Then came Verona Lights, and these guys were ready to get the room going.

The crowd was getting rowdy pretty much straight away, singing along to every song and getting right into it. The lead singer had everyone moshing almost instantly. Like, we barely had time to settle in before the pit was going.

These guys are just so much fun to watch live. You can really see the bond between them on stage, and it makes their whole performance feel really natural.

The mix of clean and screamed vocals worked so well, with Brendan switching between the two like it was nothing. Mike jumping in to support Brendan's vocals also worked really well and fit into the performance perfectly.

Ander was going off on the bass, while Nath absolutely killed it on the drums.

Every member brings something different, and it all comes together really well. By the end of their set, the crowd was fully into it — singing, moshing, dancing and basically just going nuts.

Terrestrials

And then it was time for Terrestrials.

By this point, everyone was already warmed up, but as soon as these guys came on, it went up another level.

You could tell straight away how much the crowd loves them. Everyone was singing along, getting involved and just having the best time.

And then Scott brought out the bongos.

If you've seen Terrestrials before, you already know. 😂

Scott got the crowd hyped, jumped into the crowd and somehow turned a mosh pit into a tango line.

A tango line.

I don't know how we got there, but honestly, I'm here for it.

Only at a Terrestrials show.

That's what I love about these guys. Their shows never feel like they're just standing on stage playing through a setlist. They actually get involved, have a laugh with the crowd and just go with whatever happens.

We got to hear ‘Many Moons’ again, along with some of the older Terrestrials songs, which had everyone singing along.

Also, Ben — you absolutely killed it on those backing vocals. Just saying… we need more of that! 😂

But obviously, the big moment of the night was ‘Endure’.

Nik Barker joined them on stage for the track, which made it even more special, and you could really feel the excitement in the room as they played it live. Everyone was properly into it, and hearing the song live after having it on repeat made it hit that little bit harder.

It was such a cool moment seeing everyone get behind them and celebrate the song together. Definitely one of those moments where you just sit there and think, yep, this is why live music is so bloody good.

And honestly, that's what Terrestrials do so well. They make you feel like you're part of the night rather than just someone standing in the crowd watching a band.

Terrestrials ‘Endure’ launch was such a good celebration of the new single, the band and the community they've built around them.

And after seeing that crowd?

Yeah... prog isn't dead. Not even close. 🤘

You guys are doing amazing. Keep doing you. ❤️
