Macëy on tour!

adelaide’s rising hyperpunk stars are back on the road, with shows across Adelaide, melbourne and Mount Shank. With an incredible lineup of openers, it's a show you don't want to miss. The tour celebrates their up-and-coming single 'fr fr', set to drop October 8th.

For anyone unfamiliar, macëy are a three-piece rock group, combining nu metal and shoegaze in a very unique way. From melodic tunes such as idontlikethewayyoulookatme to straight-up metal in nihilistic by design, their versatility flaunts skill and creativity. This feels like a show you could go into blind and come up absolutely wowed.

THE TRIO ARE STARTING WITH A HOMECOMING SHOW AT ED CASTLE HOTEL, alongside dreameater and here comes the pain on Wednesday 30th september. the event is free, with $3 schooners and $6 base spirits all night, it's the perfect excuse for a midweek night out.

Next up, melbourne. macëy will be taking over collingwood's nighthawks on friday the 1st October alongside local legends cass aware and lab rat. this is an 18+ ticketed event, grab them here before they sell out. if you missed them last time they were in town at the tote, this is the show to get to. nighthawks is an intimate, dive bar-esque venue, matching the atmosphere of the band perfectly. both cass aware and lab rat are groups alreading making waves on the melbourne scene, definitely worth catching live every time.

Finally, they'll be wrapping things up in Mt Schank at the bellum hotel on october 2nd alongside sexy as shit and lab rat. as well as being free, this is an all ages show! it's pretty hard to come by an accessible all ages show in the heavy genre, so it's certainly one to take advantage of!
