Nashville-based artist Taylor Acorn has released her new single and video, "Crashing Out." This track is part of her forthcoming debut album, "Poster Child," which arrives on October 24 through Fearless Records. This release follows a significant career milestone for Acorn, who signed with Fearless earlier this year after nearly a decade of building her career independently. Known for her raw honesty and personal take on the pop-punk sound, Acorn is stepping into a new chapter with this full-length album.

The Journey to "Crashing Out"

"Crashing Out" continues the momentum established by lead singles "Goodbye, Good Riddance" and "Hangman." These tracks have helped solidify Acorn's name among the prominent voices in today's pop-punk scene. The single features thick guitar riffs, cathartic hooks, and a volatile, touch-and-go romance that resonates with listeners.

"Crashing Out is a song that I wrote with Dylan Bauld and Mandy Lee from Misterwives, and it’s one of my favorites off of the album," Acorn shares. "It has such an infectious nostalgic feel to it. It’s super upbeat and just an all-around great vibe. You can dance to it, and you can crash out to it, which I’ve done both. I think the fans will really love this one, and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it!"

Acorn's Rise in the Music Industry

Acorn has been steadily carving out her place in the alternative music landscape. Earlier this year, she released the deluxe edition of her acclaimed project "Survival in Motion," further cementing her reputation. She is known for her energetic late-’90s and early-2000s pop-punk sound, which is emotionally charged and deeply loved. With "Poster Child," she aims to expand that vision, embracing the sound that first inspired her while pushing it forward for a new generation.

Pandora also highlighted her in their "Pop Punk" spotlight, reflecting her growing impact on audiences who crave both nostalgia and new energy.
