Brisbane-based deathcore band roronoah are back at it with their new single 'crimson smile' , released January 9th. The new single features Body Prison and is A MIND-BLOWING MUSICAL MIX. wHEN i TELL YOU THAT i WAS NOT EXPECTING THE INSTRUMENT FEATURED ON This TRACK, i'm telling you.... this is the LAST instrument I'd ever pick for a feature on a deathcore track! So without further ado...

Be still my phantom of the opera-loving heart because this track starts with organ music. Freaking organ music. The mix of an epic, gothic-feel introduction with the sudden explosion of heavy vocals is such an intensely chaotic, yet well-paired musical explosion. I was hoping that the organ influence would continue throughout the track and was very, very pleased when this became a reality. My favourite part of this track has to be the transition from electric guitar solo to the organ filled bridge. Roronoah have created something truly special with this track!

In the metal scene it's always interesting when someone pushes a boundary and plays around with composition, instruments and overall sound. Roronoah have impressively mixed multiple elements in this track to create something unique and engaging. They've said themselves that they draw inspiration from bands such as fit for an autopsy, ice nine kills and lorna shore. You can see how these bands have inspired roronoah to push the boundaries in their music.

The end of the track is packed full of epic, hard vocals. Just as you think it's winding down the band gives us one last giant burst of energy. If you're into deathcore and into mixed sounds, this track will be perfect for you. Personally, I want to witness moshing to organ music at the very least!

The band have said that they thrive on "creating anthems of destruction, despair and defiance; known for leaving audiences breathless with their live performances". We cannot wait to see what's next from the band! For more info on Roronoah check out their socials here.
