Filipino-born and Australian-based artist RinRin is back with her latest single 'WASHED', an explosive and infectious track that is amplified by feminine rage.
Utilising a unique mix of metal, pop-punk, industrial and electronic elements, RinRin’s sound takes cues from artists like BABYMETAL, Poppy and Bring Me The Horizon.

'WASHED' is fiery and full of ferocious energy right from the very first note. Heavy guitar riffs are enhanced by digital hardcore elements, which give the track a chaotic vibe which is intensified by RinRin’s piercing raw vocals in the first verse.
All of these elements come together until they build up to a point of emotional release in the form of intensely satisfying breakdowns throughout the track. The track also features strong melodic pop-influenced moments that showcase different aspects of RinRin’s vocals.
'WASHED' deals with themes like existential dread and self-doubt, with lyrics like “I’m feeling washed up”. These ideas are presented in the context of video game addiction, providing a unique take as well as giving the track a distinctive feel through RinRin’s storytelling.

RinRin’s debut album ‘The Nut House’ is due to be released on the September 12th which I will be absolutely looking forward to checking out! It will include 'WASHED' as well as other tracks like 'built diff' which were released earlier in the year.
All of these elements come together
