New Aussie Midwest-Emo Inspired Duo Drop Debut Single ‘that’s too much, man!’
Claw Machine, a newly formed midwest-emo inspired duo, are defining the new era of emo with their brand new debut single ‘that’s too much, man!’.

Consisting of Gabrielle Michael (vocals) and Joshua Tchatchanidze (Guitar), who bonded over their love of the genre, Claw Machine draws on the “poppier side of the midwest-emo scene and bands like Hot Mulligan, Riley! and Summerbruise.
‘That’s too much, man!’ gets its name from TV-show 'Bojack Horseman', and is described as being a “a painfully honest admission of your own self-criticisms”. This track delves into the feelings left behind by a string of failed relationships, as well as the struggles that come along with the mental impact that being hurt can leave.

Claw Machine themselves state that they are striving to "write catchy songs that are sonically upbeat and energetic, contrasted with blatantly anguishing lyrics to give listeners an emotional outlet to
scream along to".
‘That’s too much, man!’ is also accompanied by a homemade music video, filmed entirely on digicam, which definitely encapsulates those nostalgic and melancholic early 2000’s vibes.
