facelift bring fun back to pop punk
inspired by your favs south arcade, stand atlantic and Neck deep. i bring to you, facelift. the 'new' kids on the block THAT MADE ME CRY, LET ME EXPLAIN... with their new single, 'vertigo'
in their own words (and i love this) they're 'still hell-bent on injecting some life back into their local scene' and OH MY FUCKING GOD THEIR RIGHT!!!
“What I love about this song is that I started writing the lyrics about some bad habits I was trying to shake, but halfway through I realised that a lot of the lines also worked in the context of a relationship, which can wreck your life just as much -if not more - as bad habits. So the song can really be about either, which I think is really cool. People can interpret it however they want - or need.”
I FUCKING LOVE THESE LIL TREASURES WITH SONGS NOT OVER 3 MINUTES. THIS IS 2:37 MINUTES LONG. IT SHITS ME THAT IT'S NOT LONGER. BUT IT'S A COMPLIMENT. CAUSE IT'S ON REPEAT..... DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? IDK. IT'S A REALLY GOOD SONG LIKE REALLY FUCKING GOOD SONG. IT'S FILLING EVERY HOLE IN MY SOUL WITH NOSTALGIA... LIKE I'M LISTENING TO ONE DIRECTION WHILE I WRITE THIS (DON'T ASK HOW THIS IS STILL ON TOPIC, IT IS. THIS IS BASED)
