West Sydney nu-metal band, ELARA are back again with their second single from their upcoming ep and it’s hard.

The introduction of this track, beanstalker is straight up heavy, fast and intense, giving you no time to prepare for what’s to come in this head thrashing banger. We open with a strong deadly guitar riff, punchy drums that's met with a wicked electro spin.

With a collaboration of different vocal styles, we hear heavy vocals, rap, some clean singing and pig squeals throughout the song.
But lets not forget the juiciest part of all, the coolest pit-call-out I’ve ever heard
“fee fi fo fum”
that follows into a heavy, meaty breakdown that’s sure to make everyone want to throw down some spin-kicks and windmills in the pit.
I can almost see the crowd in my own head collectively screaming along to this track. Not just because it’s catchy, but because of what it stands for.
ELARA have written this masterpiece that calls out the toxic behaviour amongst artists in the music scene. Even myself being just a by-stander & fan, it’s easy to see this behaviour that circles in every city’s local music scenes.

Using the name “beanstalker” stood out to me because of the classic fairytale, jack and the beanstalk. After re-reading the story myself, I understand the correlation between the toxic behaviour ELARA are calling out, and the giant in the fairytale - thinking he owns the place, or in their words, is “king of the shit show”
This single is sharp, edgy, heavy and a big “f-you” for the self righteous “toughies” trying to stomp people down.
