Destroy all lines agency showcase Took place on Monday 1st of September at The Brightside in Brisbane, featuring up & coming artists friends

of Friends, bad juju, sunbleached, late 90's, closure & heartline. the showcase took place before Big Sound festival which is a three day event throughout Brisbane, taking place at some of brisbane's most iconic venues. Unfortunately due to family illness I was unable to attend the showcase, but that doesn't mean we can't learn more about the bands in attendance. So let's get into it.


friends of friends


"Friends of Friends make music that refuses to sit still - raw, genre blurring, and emotionally unfiltered. The four-piece indie-rock band from the gold coast, queensland have been releasing music since 2019, debuting with their single "human". to date F.O.F have one EP "real life, real now" (2024) and a handful of singles, including their latest drop "I like ya". f.o.f hit the Keerang charts at #13 for their single "Attention" and have previously Toured with Short stack, kasabian, set it off, goth babes, the reytons and go-jo.

bad juju


"Bad Juju entered into the spotlight with guns blazing. The band have cut their teeth on the live circuit alongside some impressive names, including most recently landmvrks, the ghost inside, touché amoré, movements, teenage wrists, hands like houses and Boston Manor." - via spotify


Bad juju is a grunge-rock five piece from Melbourne, victoria. they debuted into the scene in 2017 with their first single "bloom" becoming an instant hit. to date the band has two full length albums "you're not alone" (2020) and "blue heaven" (2023) and one ep "hidden desire" (2018); their latest release is sing "simulacra" (August 25).

sunbleached


"Formed in 2020, ‘sunbleached’ are a dynamic rock four-piece from Brisbane, Australia. ‘sunbleached’ sets out to create a fresh and authentic alternative rock sound inspired from decades passed and reimagined." - via spotify


sunbleached released their first single "ninety" in 2020, since adding two eps "delicate places we hide" (2023) and "I crawled into the hole" (2024) amongst a handful of singles. Sunbleached have previously toured with ocean Grove, the getaway plan, citizen, movements, touché amoré and no pressure.

late 90s

late 90s debuted their first single "echoes" in 2021, followed by eps "everything is closer than it seems" (2022) and "silk" (2025) along with several singles including the latest release "low" last month.

closure


Closure is a four piece post-hardcore emo band from sydney, new south wales. closure debuted in 2019 with "bedroom" and released their first EP "the sweet suffering" in July this year.

heartline


heartline is a four-piece metalcore-pop fusion band from Adelaide, south Australia. 2019 saw the released of "frail", followed by eps "essence" (2019) and "pink Lemonade" (2024) and full length album "I call for the sinking warmth" (2021).


heartline have previous toured with short stack, (hed) p.e., smash into pieces, 311, paledusk, crossfaith and the word alive
