156/Silence Join Pure Noise Records + Drop Haunting New Track Our Parting Ways

Big moves have been made by Pittsburgh heavy-hitters 156/Silence, as the five-piece have officially joined the roster at Pure Noise Records, marking a bold new chapter for the band as they continue to carve out their place in the current heavy music landscape. This signing feels like a natural next step for a band.
To celebrate the announcement, 156/Silence have unleashed their brand new track Our Parting Ways, accompanied by a cinematic and emotionally charged official music video. The single arrives as the band’s first release since their acclaimed 2024 full-length People Watching, and it hits with that signature 156 blend of anguish, atmosphere, and rawness.
When reflecting on the new song, the band shared: "Our parting ways will always come together. The spaces left between what was and what is hold a place of their own to be remembered with grace. As the pages decrease in our story, we bleed to gain access to the memories of the path we once shared."
On joining Pure Noise: "Pure Noise has always been a label we have all been fans of so when the option to sign with them was there we couldn’t pass it up. Everyone at the label has been so accommodating and supportive, very excited for the future of 156 with Pure Noise!"
If you’ve caught 156/Silence live, you already know the band doesn’t do anything halfway and their touring schedule proves it. The group is currently tearing across North America with Counterparts, Thrown, and Split Chain until October 26. Then, barely catching their breath, they jump right back on the road with Fit For A King, Make Them Suffer, Spite, and Currents starting October 30 to close out the year.
With new music, a powerhouse label behind them, and a nonstop tour calendar, 156/Silence are clearly gearing up for their biggest era yet.
