it brings a big smile to my face and great pleasure to my heart to write these words...

superheaven have just announced their return to Australia after 10 years!

first formed in 2007 as 'daylight' the grunge revivalists changed their name in 2014 to superheaven with the reissued release of their album "jar", following a year later with a breakthrough album "ours is chrome". superheaven climbed the charts and landed on brooklynvegan's "50 best punk & emo albums 2015-2019."

the band took an extended indefinite hiatus in 2016 to focus on their personal lives.

but the power of social media can change anything, because through 2023-2024 one of their hit songs "youngest daughter" went viral online, reaching new ears and creating a stir. fans old and new begging for their return and raising the streaming numbers to now nearing half a billion!

since the eyes and ears are back on the band, they came out of hiatus and returned to touring this year and have since released their first album in 10 years. self-titled "superheaven" features the songs of singles and ep released from November 2024 - march 2025. the album consists of the consistent sound the band is known and widely admired for, with their lead single "long gone" taking charge.

if you're an old school lover of shoe-gaze, gritty post-hardcore, punk hardcore and the sludgy melodic sounds of the 90's, you're in for a treat from this tour.

joining superheaven down under is angel du$t. with the roots formed by members of turnstile and trapped under ice, angel du$t have since evolved into one of the most daring bands amongst the punk/hardcore scenes.
