hellbound cruise 2026 lineup revealed

Hellbound, departing from Sydney Harbour on the Carnival Splendor, is the first of its kind in Australia, Heavy Metal Cruise. The cruise will set sail on the 22nd of October 2026 and return on the 25th of October. Boasting 14 decks, including the top deck moshpit, hot tubs, mini gold, water slides and lounges & bars, the cruise is set to be a non-stop treat. There are four cabin choices to pick from for your stay, ranging from Budget Brawler to Ultimate Slayer.

The Australian alternative music scene has been waiting impatiently for the lineup reveal, and today marks that day. Below you will find the complete list of the all aussie band lineup featuring on the bill over the length of the cruise. 



  1. parkway drive


the undeniable kings of australian metal are back for a headline. parkway drive have nine albums and one live release to date, spanning a 20 year career.




  1. polaris


polaris is a Sydney metalcore band who formed in 2012 and have been making waves since. they have three albums and two instrumental albums released to date.




  1. northlane


northlane are a heavy metal band with techno influences, formed in blacktown, Sydney in 2009. they have six albums, five deluxe edition and three live releases so far.




  1. the butterfly effect


the Brisbane founded hard rock quartet formed in 2001. the butterfly effect have four albums and one live record released to date.




  1. make them suffer


Perth local metalcore band, make them suffer, have been releasing music since 2010; they have five albums released thus far.




  1. in hearts wake


in hearts wake are a metalcore band from Byron Bay and have been releasing music since 2012 and have ten albums released so far.




  1. Belle haven


belle haven are an alternative rock band from melbourne. they have released two albums since their formation in 2010.




  1. bloom


bloom are a melodic hardcore band formed in Sydney. they have two albums released so far.

chez is a pop rock artist who is making waves with performance alongside against the current, pvris and magnolia park, amongst others. she has ten single releases to her name so far.

diamond construct are from taree in new south Wales and have been releasing their metalcore/djent blend since 2016. they have three albums released.




  1. future static


future static infuse metalcore, progressive metal, alternative rock, and pop sensibilities to form their unique sound. they have been releasing music since 2018 and have one album released to date.




  1. ocean sleeper


ocean sleeper, from Gippsland, victoria, have been releasing metalcore since 2016 and have one full length album that was released in 2019.




  1. reliqa


reliqa is a progressive metalcore from sydney. they have been releasing music since 2018 and they have two albums released.




  1. the beautiful monument


the beautiful monument have been releasing music since 2016. the Melbourne rock band has released two full length albums.




  1. the gloom in the corner


the gloom in the corner are a concept-based cinemacore band from melbourne. they have released music since 2016 including three albums.




  1. to the grave


Sydney horror deathcore band, to the grave, have been making waves for years. they have been releasing music since 2015, including six albums and one directors cut instrumental albums.

    windwaker have been releasing hyperpop-metal music since 2017. they have three albums under their belt.
